The Finnish Sauna

Even in the Stone Age people discovered the possibility of using heated stones to warm their location and - with increasing the temperature - to make you sweat in it.

The Finnish sauna is regarded as the classic means of strengthening the immune system. At temperatures between 85 and 100 C in dry air, the metabolism is stimulated and toxins are sweated off.

 

The heat stimulates the heart and circulation. Sauna bathing is also an excellent remedy for body care: through sweating, the skin is cleaned thoroughly.
