Big Touristic Tradition

Conscious of a big touristic tradition thanks to our father: South Tyroleans Trailblazer.

He was a mountain guide and rock climber and is regarded as founder of modern tourism: Franz Kostner. 

He championed the opening up of Val Badia to tourism and built the very first sled lift in 1930.

After opening the first ski school he went on to build up the reputation of Val Badia, Val Gardena and formed the Dolomiti Superski federation, the world’s largest interconnected ski area.
