Booking conditions and cancellation policy

Your reservation will be confirmed only after sending us a confirmatory premium of 30% of the total amount of the reservation, which may be paid by credit card or by an online bank transfer (within 72 hours after booking).

Cancellation policy & general terms of contract
General Terms of Contract according to Article 1341 ZGB (Civil Code), which are valid for agreements/contracts between the accommodation provider and the guests and/or person who makes the booking.

Cancellation requirements according to Article 1382 ZGB (Civil Code)
The right of withdrawal as laid down in the Consumers' Code is not contemplated.
However, we are willing to apply the following conditions for withdrawal:

  • At least 90 days before the agreed day of arrival of the guest(s), the hotel contract can be cancelled by the guest or the person who made the booking without a cancellation fee. The cancellation must be made in writing. An already paid confirmatory premium cannot be refunded but can be used for another reservation made within 12 months from the day of the cancellation.

In the case of a cancellation by the guest or the person who made the booking, during the period between the 89th day of the agreed day of arrival and the actual day of arrival, the guest is liable for payment of the following cancellation fees: Cancellation between

  • 89 and 60 days before the day of arrival: 30% of the agreed total price
  • 59 and 15 days before the day of arrival: 50% of the agreed total price
  • 14 and 8 days before the day of arrival: 70% of the agreed total price
  • 7 and 1 day before the day of arrival: 90% of the agreed total price
  • In case of no-show, late arrival or early departure: 100% of the agreed total price.

Notification pursuant to Part III, Section III, Paragraph I of Italian Legislative Decree no. 206/2005 (Consumers' Code).

Please note that:

  • The cancellation must be made in writing and must be received by the hotel no later than the above named dates before the agreed day of arrival of the guest(s).
  • The agreed price is the price, which was agreed for accommodation, catering and other additional services.
  • If individual members do not arrive and/or not all rooms/beds are cancelled, the guest(s) and/or person who made the booking is liable for payment of the cancellation fee (as listed above) for these beds/rooms.

 We strongly recommend taking out cancellation insurance.

Trip cancellation insurance

Better be safe than sorry. That’s why the Corso am Graben has been collaborating with the well-knows and reliable insurance company Europäische Reiseversicherung for many years. With an insurance premium of only 5% of the total booking amount the most common reasons for having to stay at home are covered – in a reliable and simple way and with no own-risk deductible. Of course you can also add the amount of your flight tickets, rental car, etc. In this way not only your hotel booking but your whole trip will be covered in case of cancellation.

The stipulation of the insurance must be part of the booking process. Please note that in case you decide to stipulate an insurance only after having already completed your booking, the insurance will become effective ten days after having closed the contract.

FAQ

Which meals does the rate include?

We offer a B&B or a room-only rate. With pleasure you can have additional meals at our restaurant – à la carte without any prior commitment and with no fixed rate.

Is it possible to book the halfboard treatment?

We don’t offer a halfboard treatment in the traditional sense meaning that you have to take a daily menu for a fixed rate for every day of your stay. However, we do offer to remain free and flexible in your choice: with pleasure we can book a table for you at our restaurant, for lunch and dinner, where you may choose à la carte between homemade local dishes and Italian pizza cooked in a wood-fired oven. Please find here all the details regarding our restaurant.

Where can I park my car?

You may enter the pedestrian zone with your car and stop right in front of our entrance for the time of unloading. Afterwards, you may park your car in our garage (supplement of €15.00 per day). Since there is only a limited number of parking spaces available, we recommend booking it in advance. Please note that your vehicle cannot be higher than 2.00 metres.

Since the main entrance to the garage is currently being renovated, you may use the entrance of the Stegener Straße – Via Stegona. Please stop at the reception first to pick up the remote control, which you will need to open the gate.

Alternatively, you can park your car in the public garage Parking Center P1 or on several parking lots outside in the surrounding area (parking fee will be charged according to the length of stay) Next to the public outdoor swimming pool, which is located at approximately 15 walking minutes, you may park your car even for free.

What happens in case of a cancellation?

Please let us know as soon as possible in case you need to modify or cancel your booking and please note that cancellation fees might be applied. Please find here all the details regarding our cancellation policy and please consider concluding a trip cancellation insurance already when booking your room.

Is there a local tax, which will be added to the room price?

The local tax is €2.50 per person and day and is not included in the daily rate of your room. The tax is not applied on children under 14 years.

When is check-in and check-out?

Your room will be ready for you at 3.00 PM. Please let us know in case you will arrive after 7.00 PM and we will send you all the details for a self check-in.

On the day of departure, check-out will be available for you from 8.00 AM to 11.00 AM. If you would like to leave earlier, please settle your account on the day before departure.

Can I bring my pet?

Small, well-educated dogs are allowed to the room type „Graben“. We will charge €10.00 per dog and pet (no food available). Please be aware that pets have to be announced in advance and that they are not allowed in the breakfast room.

Lost & Found

Did you forget something in your room? Please contact us as soon as possible to verify if we have found your lost item, place your order with the courier service Europacco and get your items back in an easy and affordable way. Please note that we can keep your lost items for no longer than 30 days.

Where can I smoke?

Our hotel is smokefree, which means that smoking is strictly forbidden in all rooms as well as in all other internal spaces like the breakfast room, reception, restaurant. Please be aware that penalties may be applied in case of violation. However, it is allowed to smoke on the outside areas, e.g. on our terrace.
